The Caldwell County football team held its postseason banquet Saturday in the high school cafeteria.

The team does not give out individual awards, but Luke Parker and Eli Stevens were announced as the 2025 David Barnes Memorial Scholarship winners.

Caldwell head coach Aaron McClung recognized the seven Tigers named All-WKC following the season.

Junior kicker Sutton Ritchey and senior defensive back Parker made the first team in voting by football coaches of the Western Kentucky Conference.

Five other players received All-WKC mention as well — sophomore quarterback Daelyn Lander, senior running back/linebacker Kameron Spikes, senior receiver Gus Fox, senior receiver Luke Maddox and junior linebacker Jack Roach.

Parker was also recognized for making second-team all state, and leading the state and tying a school record with nine interceptions.

Longtime assistant coach and former Tiger standout Waynee McGowan announced his retirement from the football coaching staff. He was presented a rocking chair by the Caldwell County Tiger Gold Rush Club.

The Tigers went 5-7 this past season but had a late-season three-game winning streak and won their first playoff game in six years, at Fort Campbell.
