Top 5 finishes for both the Fort Campbell Falcon and Lady Falcon wrestling teams at this year’s state duals. The event was held at the Corbin Arena.
The Falcons finished 3-1, beating Mcreary County 51-30 and Mason Co 39-38. The Falcons then dropped their semifinal match to state champion Union County 75-6. Fort Campbell came back and beat LaRue Co 42-34, the first win over LaRue County in at least 20 years, to finish in 3rd place.
The Lady Falcons opened up with a 34-28 win over Boyle County. Fort Campbell then lost to eventual state champion Taylor County and to Harrison County 42-29. The Lady Falcons came back to defeat McCreary County 42-30 for 5th place.
The Falcons improve to 31-9 on the season and the Lady Falcons are now 16-5 on the season in duals.
