
Hosts Warren Central celebrated Senior Night in style on Tuesday with a 70-30 victory over visiting Christian County. The Dragons improved to 16-2 with their twelfth win in the last 13 games.
Warren Central took control early and led 15-3 after the first quarter before pushing the margin out to 16 points at the halftime break.
The Colonels suffered their worst loss of the season to slip to 5-17. They will host University Heights Academy on Friday in a big district matchup. Christian County is 3-1 in district play, including a win over Hopkinsville, while the Blazers will enter the contest at 2-1.
It will be a rematch of last season’s district championship triple-overtime thriller won by the Blazers 82-81.
