Christian County Bowlers Make History on Day 1 of Region

The 2025 regional bowling tournament got ‘rolling’ with singles competition in Paducah Friday, Friday’s action included a first for the Christian County bowling program.

In boys singles, Christian County’s Christian Lane became the first bowler in program history to finish among the top in the region. Lane finished the day in 8th place, becoming the first bowler from Christian County or Hopkinsville to make it into the Top 8. He averaged a 183 for 5 games.

Lane also qualified for an All-Regional team that will compete in Louisville on February 22nd.

Other finishers for Christian County were:

Peyton Hilton finished 45th
Aiden Lewis finished 46th
Michael DeArmond finished 63rd

The finishers for Hopkinsville were:

Ethan Brake finished 26th
Kyle Bauman finished 61st
Brent Rivers finished 66th
Chaison White finished 68th

In the Unified division for Christian County Kane DeGuilio and Christian Lane finished 2nd and qualified to go to State Championships in Louisville February 10th – 12th. This is also a first for either program for someone to qualify for State Championships.

Team competition is taking place Saturday.
