Windles lead HCA Bowling Team at Regional

In wake of its performance at the regional tournament this weekend, the bowling team at Heritage Christian Academy, in just its second season, continues to take some big steps forward. HCA was among the schools competing at the two-day region bowling tournament in Paducah.

The girls’ singles competition saw sisters Braelyn Windle and Alayna Windle both end up with Top 15 finishes. Braelyn rolled a 496 series to finish in 14th place. Her high game was a 165.

Alayna Windle was right behind her sister in 15th place with a 465 series. Alayna’s high game was a 199 the second game of her series.

Kathryn Whitecotton rolled a 336 series, which put her in 41st place.

In boys’ singles, Cameron Oesch rolled the high series for Heritage Christian with a 425, putting him in 56th place.

Nicholas Pyle finished the day in 64th place. Jace Ritli finished 73rd and Hunter Reigel was right behind him in 74th place.

In the team competition, Heritage Christian fell in their opening match in five games to Warren Central.
