Tiger Trio Signs with Lindsey Wilson (w/PHOTOS)

Three Hopkinsville Tigers will be headed off this fall to continue their football and their academic careers and they will be headed off together. Treston Kay, Amoni Johnson, and Artavius Moses, all signed their letters Wednesday afternoon to play college football at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia.

The trio signed during ceremonies Wednesday afternoon in Tiger Gym.

Treston Kay was the big play threat for the Tigers and was Hopkinsville’s leading receiver in 2024 with 31 catches for 539 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 41 times for 244 yards and 3 scores. He added one interception return for a TD, a fumble return for a TD, 3 punt returns for scores, and three two-point conversions. He was fourth on the team in tackles with 51.

Amoni Johnson only played in five games for the Tigers during the 2024 season. He had one fumble recovery and finished the year with 28 total tackles, six of them going for loss.

Artavius Moses carried the ball 47 times for 237 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 2 passes for nine yards. Moses was a force on defense for the Tigers. He forced four fumbles and had two fumble recoveries. He was Hopkinsville’s leading tackler in 2024 with 66 total tackles, seven of them coming for loss. Moses added one interception, which he then returned for 50 yards.
