
The Fort Campbell Falcon swim team will have three entries advancing on to the KHSAA state swimming championship finals. The three qualified during the first round of the championships Saturday at Bowling Green High School.
Jonah Weisbrich had the effort of the day, winning the Boys 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:00.02. That time will have him seeded 14th at the state finals.
The Boys 200 Yard Medley relay team of Thomas Griffin, John Stultz, Jonah Weisbrich, and Luke Szody finished 6th with a time of 1:46.76. That time was good enough to get the entry into the state finals where it will be seeded 24th.
The Boys 400 Yard Freestyle relay team of Thomas Griffin, John Stultz, Jonah Weisbrich, and Luke Szody finished 8th with a time of 3:35.64. That time was also good enough to get the entry into the state finals where it will also be seeded 24th.
Other finishes Saturday for the Falcons were:
John Stultz – 200 Yard Freestyle – 15th place
Jonah Weisbrich – 200 Yard Individual IM – 9th place
John Stultz – 100 Yard Butterfly – 12th place
Samuel MacNab – 500 Yard Freestyle – 14th place
