This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of February 3 is University Heights Academy’s Tylin George. Tylin was selected based on his efforts in the Blazers’ big district win over Christian County on Friday night.
Friday night, Tylin George scored 12 of his 31 points in the final quarter as the Blazers pulled away from the Christian County Colonels 68-56 for a big 8th District win.
The win sent the 8th District standings into a 3-way tie at the top with Hopkinsville, Christian County, and UHA all at 3-1 in the district standings.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
