This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of February 17 is Christian County High School’s Lazarie Daniel. Lazarie was selected based on her efforts in the Lady Colonels’ big win over 2nd Region opponent Caldwell County on Monday night.
Lazarie Daniel scored 10 points in the third quarter as the Lady Colonels ran out to a 20-point lead to put the game away and finish the regular season at 16-9. For the night, Lazarie led her team in scoring with 24 points.
She finishes the regular season averaging 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for Christian County.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
