Two Christian County bowlers gave a big effort Tuesday at the KHSAA Unified Bowling Championship at Kingpin Lanes in Jeffersontown.
Christian Lane and Kane DeGiulio had scores of 157 and 158 in their qualifying games. Those scores put the duo as the #6 seed of the sixteen pairs that qualified for the bracket competition.
However, Lane and DeGuilio would end up falling to the #11 seed entry from Ryle High School in the opening round.
Lane and DeGuilio rolled a 134, which was their lowest score of the day. The Ryle pairing bowled a 191, which was 56 pins about their best score during the qualifying games.
