Besides a big win in the 7th District semifinals over Caldwell County on Monday, Dawson Springs junior Jaydon Plunkette scored his 1,000th point as the Panthers advanced to the district championship game.
Plunkette had 17 points in the win, including five 3-pointers. His second 3 of the night hit the magic number.
