Madisonville-North Hopkins came up with some key plays down the stretch to turn back Dawson Springs Thursday night in the 7th District championship game.
It’s the 16th straight title for the Maroons.
Senior Kanyon Johnson had two big dunks late to help finish off the victory. His dunk with 1:06 to go put the Maroons up 63-60, and his steal and 360 dunk in the closing seconds capped a 70-61 triumph.
