Former Madisonville-North Hopkins standout Kenny White Jr. has earned all-conference honors at Morehead State University.
White was named Second-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference this week.
The Madisonville native led Morehead State in scoring in his lone year as an Eagle, averaging 12.3 points per game. He scored in double figures in 12 of the 20 conference games and also averaged a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game in 2024-25.
White shot 46 percent overall and 39 percent from three-point range. He had a pair of double-doubles this year, including 25 points and a career-best 17 rebounds in the first game with Tennessee State on Dec. 21. He also had 23 points at Southern Indiana and 16 at home versus Little Rock.
Morehead State finished the year 15-17, bowing to Lindenwood in the first round of the OVC Tournament this week.
White scored 1,616 points at Madisonville, finishing seventh on the Maroons’ all-time scoring list.
He was named 2nd Region Player of the Year and was a finalist for Kentucky Mr. Basketball in 2019-20.
