This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of March 3 is Christian County High School’s Lazarie Daniel. Lazarie was selected based on her effort in the Lady Colonels’ 70-51 win over Madisonville-North Hopkins in the quarterfinal round of the Girls’ 2nd Region tournament Tuesday night at Christian County High School.
Lazarie finished the game with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Her performance helped Christian County to pull away from the Lady Maroons in the second half of play and advance on to the regional semifinals.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
