Lady Storm Roll in Scrimmage Win Against Dawson

The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm kept it in the district Tuesday evening as they took to the field for some preseason softball action. The Lady Storm put up 11 runs in the first inning on their way to a 22-0 win over the Dawson Springs Lady Panthers.

The Lady Storm took advantage of 12 walks in scoring their runs on just four hits. The Lady Panthers were also charged with five errors in the game.

Hopkins Central scored 11 in the first, 7 in the second, and four more runs in the bottom of the third.

Ava McCord, Layla Sorrells, Julia Harris, and Reese Blanford had one hit each for the Lady Storm. Harris’ hit was an inside the park home run.

Tallie Robinson had the lone hit in the game for the Lady Panthers.
