Christian County got a quality start from Andrew Fincham and a big night at the plate from senior Aiden Lewis as the Colonels opened the 2025 baseball season with a big 10-0 district home field win over the Fort Falcons Monday evening.
Fincham pitched four innings of one-hit ball for Christian County. He struck out seven and walked three during his time on the hill for the Colonels.
After being shut out in the bottom of the first inning, the Colonels scored in each of their next three at-bats. Christian County scored three in the second, five in the third, and two more in the bottom of the fourth inning as the Colonels rolled to the win.
Aiden Lewis led the Colonel attack, going 2-2 with a double and four RBIs. Leland Creamer was 1-1 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored. Gage Montes and Eddie Davis were each 1-2 with a run scored. Davis also had an RBI in the game.
Fort Campbell’s lone hit in the contest came when Michael Anderson led off the evening with a single to left.
Brody Davis was charged with the loss for the Falcons.
