Big wins for both the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroon and Maroon tennis teams Friday afternoon. Both teams hosted Muhlenberg County, with the ladies playing at Madisonville Community College and the guys playing on the courts at Madisionville-North Hopkins High School.
The Lady Maroons came away with an 8-1 win over the Lady Mustangs. Madisonville won 5 of the 6 girls’ singles matches and swept all three of the doubles matches.
On the boys’ side, the Maroons won 6 of 6 singles matches and swept the three doubles matches to take a 9-0 sweep of the Mustangs.
