Fort Campbell was held to three hits and committed five errors on Tuesday to slip to their third-straight loss after a 16-1 decision at Northwest, TN.
The Falcons dropped to 1-4 ahead of a trip to Webster County on Friday. The Vikings snapped a six-game skid to move to 2-9.
Northwest pushed four runs across in the first, including RBI singles by Lucas Parker and Andres Garcia. The Vikings buried the Falcons with 12 runs in the second, highlighted by RBI doubles by Garcia and Chase Hea-Knox.
Noah Herron took the loss on the mound for Fort Campbell, allowing 12 runs, five earned, on six hits with five walks and a strikeout. John Arnold, Colton Ramos, and Gavin Haler each had a hit for the Falcons.
Landon Holliman got the win for Northwest, allowing a single run on two hits with three walks and a pair of strikeouts.
For the Vikings, Joshua Tharpe finished with three RBI, Parker and Garcia had two hits and two runs driven in, and Hea-Knox added two RBI.
