
After a tough loss to Cumberland County to open the season back on Friday night, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels rebounded in a big way Monday night. Freshman Olivia Weikel pitched a five-inning no-hitter as the Lady Rebel offense rapped out 12 hits on their way to a 13-0 win over Warren Central in the home opener for Todd Central.
Weikel was rolling from the get-go in this one. She struck out 11 and walked only two for the game.
The game was just 2-0 going into the bottom of the fourth when the Lady Rebels erupted for 11 runs to take the 13-0 lead. Todd County Central sent 15 batters to the plate in the inning.

Weikel then sat down the Lady Dragons in order in the top of the 5th to close out the win.
Weikel also had it going at the plate with a 2-3 game. She had two doubles and 3 RBIs. Addison Woodall finished 2-3 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Aubrey Perone was 3-3 with two triples and an RBI. Ella Hall was 2-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Todd County Central improved to 1-1 with the win.
