The Caldwell County tennis teams played at home for the first time on Tuesday.
Caldwell’s guys swept three matches while the Lady Tigers split eight matches with Union, resulting in a 4-4 draw.
In boys singles:
Cade Rowland (CC) defeated Evan Russelburg 6-2, 6-2
Ben Menser (CC) def. Makaedin Elam 8-2.
In doubles:
Rowland and Cason Littlejohn (CC) def. Russelburg and Elam 6-0, 6-0.
In girls singles:
Ella Johnson (CC) def. Allison Deibler 6-1, 6-1
Julia Mingers (UC) def. Meleah Greenfield 8-6
Abby Driesbach (UC) def. Addison Robinson 8-4
Aubrey Straub (UC) def. Karoline White 9-8 (8-6)
Eleanor Roach (CC) def. Juliana Jackson 8-0
Paisley Hooks (CC) def. Eva Powell 8-0

Troy Freeman and Greenfield (CC) def. Tristan Thompson and Paxton Morgan 6-0, 6-1

Caldwell’s netters will host Lyon County on Thursday.
