
Caldwell County had ten top-10 finishes at the 25-team Invitational of the South hosted by Marshall County Friday night and early Saturday.
Addison Middleton-Mobley finished in eighth place in the 100-meter dash in 13.45 seconds. She also took third place in the long jump at 15-5 and 10th place in the triple jump at 30 feet.
Med Thomas was seventh in the 400 meters in 1:05.02.
Emily Klidzejs was 11th in the 300-meter hurdles in one minute flat.
Ivy Lopez was 14th in the 300-meter hurdles in 1:08.07.
Chevy McGowen was 17th in the 200-meter dash in 29.46 seconds. She also took 18th place in the long jump at 12-9.25.
Brilee Hubbard was 18th in the 200-meter dash in 29.58 seconds.
Mariah Vickery was 26th in the 400-meter dash in 1:12.93.
Karmen Beasley was 28th in the 400 meters in 1:15.19.
Kimberly Shrewsbury was 28th in the 800-meter dash in 3:17.41.
Raylin Acree was 45th in the 100-meter dash in 15.10 seconds. She also took 13th place in the long jump at 13-9.25.
In the relays, Benashka Thomas, Chevy McGowen, Brilee Hubbard, and Addison Middleton-Mobley teamed to finish fifth in the 400 meters in 54.26 seconds.
Mariah Vickery, Audrey McCoy, Emily Klidzejs, and Med Thomas were fifth in the 1600-meter relay in 4:54.25.
Kimberly Shrewsbury, Klidzejs, McCoy, and Vickery came in sixth in the 3200 meters in 11:46.93.
McGowen, Hubbard, Med Thomas, and Benashka Thomas finished eighth in the 800-meter relay in 1:56.99.
In the field events, Audrey McCoy tied for first place with a height of 4 feet, 10 inches.
Benashka Thomas finished eighth in the triple jump at 30-3.5 and was 11th in the shot put at 28-8.
Brilee Hubbard was 11th in the high jump at 4-4.
Mariah Vickery was 15th in the high jump at 4-2.
Addison Wood was 41st in the discus throw at 38 feet, and 44th in the shot put at 15-6
As a team, Caldwell County finished in eighth place with 31 points.
