Caldwell County junior Ethan Ramage says he is just concentrating on pitching these days, and he has gotten off to a strong start this season, as have the Tigers.
In 16 innings, Ramage is 1-0 with a save and an earned run average of 2.19 with 24 strikeouts.
Ramage worked six strong innings against Calloway County on Saturday, allowing just one earned run on one base hit while fanning eight.
The Tigers beat the Lakers 9-1 for their seventh straight win and a 7-1 record.
