The heavy rains from last week have forced additional changes in the schedule for the 2nd Region All A Classic baseball tournament this week. The tournament had been scheduled to get underway Monday at University Heights Academy and Caldwell County.
Action gets underway Tuesday night at University Heights with one game between UHA and Heritage Christian Academy at 6pm. Originally, Dawson Springs and Crittenden County were set to play in another first round game, but Dawson Springs shut down their baseball program for the year just prior to the start of the season.
The other two first round games will be played Wednesday night at either Caldwell County or Lyon County, depending on field conditions. The 5:30pm game will have Caldwell County against Fort Campbell, followed by Lyon County and Livingston Central.
The semifinals are now set for Thursday night beginning at 5:30 at University Heights.
The championship game is slated for 6pm Friday at University Heights.
