
The Christian County Colonels finished in third place at Saturday’s Coach Johnson Memorial Track and Field Invitational at Fort Campbell.
The Colonels scored 87.5 points to finish behind Fort Campbell (141) and Rossview (112).
Satona Bailey won the 100-meter dash in 11.10, edging Griffin McCoy (11.12), teammate Kristen Johnson (11.13), and Paducah Tilghman’s Kylen Ware (11.17) in a tight finish.
Bailey took second in the 200 meters in 22.45 seconds, and Johnson came in third in 22.59.
Johnson also recorded a fifth-place finish in the 400 meters in 51.95 seconds.
Jacob Webb came in fifth place in the 1600-meter run in 5:03.70.
Cayden Cline finished fifth in the 3200-meter run in 11:27.76 and seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:11.56.
Lucas Coats was 10th in the 3200 meters in 12:22.85.
Matthew Reeves was 11th in the 800 meters in 2:19.50.
Ethan Cooper was 14th in the 3200 meters in 12:42.05.
Wyatt Fleming was 15th in the 400-meter dash in 55.68 seconds.
Bryce Hamlin came in 17th place in the 1600 meters in 5:55.23.
Levi Johnson finished 23rd in the 1600 meters in 6:45.59.
Hector Munoz came in 23rd place in the 200-meter dash in 26.27 seconds.
Richard Brown was 26th in the 800 meters in 2:41.
Levar Daniel was 31st in the 400 meters in 1:03.14.
Jeiren Williams finished 33rd in the 100-meter dash in 13.66 seconds.
In the relays, the 1600-meter team finished in fourth place in 3:44.23 and the 400-meter team came in 10th place in 47.84 seconds.
Christian County fared well in the field events with three first-place finishes.
Christopher McCarley won both throwing events. He took the discus with a heave of 144-8 and the discus at 47-5.
In his first year of competing, Iyobosa Ogbes won the high jump at six feet.
Matthew Reeves tied for sixth place in the high jump at 5-4.
Jimmarion Byrd came in sixth place in the shot put at 35 feet and ninth place in the discus throw at 81-7.
Chris Quarles was 10th in the discus throw at 80-2 and 11th in the shot put at 31-4.
Marlee Reeves took 11th place in the high jump at 16-8.5.
Levar Daniel came in 14th place in the high jump at 15-10.
