Fort Campbell Claims Coach Johnson Memorial Title

Fort Campbell was strong in the jumps and relays to bring home first place at their Coach Johnson Memorial Track and Field Invitational on Saturday at Fryar Stadium.

Samuel Atoubi swept the hurdle events, winning the 110 meters in 15.68 seconds and the 300 in 42.13 seconds.

Jayden Perry was second in the 1600-meter run in 4:57.33 and sixth in the 800 meters in 2:10.47.

Mateo Cerritos Gatto was fourth in the 400 meters in 50.98 seconds.

Andrew Bennett was fifth in the 800 meters in 2:10.47.

Eric Greene was sixth in the 200 meters in 23.13 seconds and ninth in the 100-meter dash in 11.48 seconds.

Levi Kruse was eighth in the 110-meter hurdles in 20.47 seconds.

Seth Puraty was ninth in the 1600-meter run in 5:15.94.

Samuel Knowlton was 10th in the 110-meter hurdles in 21.21 seconds.

Laynee Barbee was 11th in the 1600 meters in 5:29.09 and 13th in the 3200 meters in 12:42.05.

Aiden Ward was 12th in the 100-meter dash in 11.67 seconds and 12th in the 400-meter dash in 54.62 seconds.

Adam Berry was 12th in the 200-meter dash in 23.99 seconds.

Miguel Oranday was 13th in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.18 seconds.

Tadaro Taylor was 20th in the 200 meters in 25.87 seconds.

Andy Cintron was 25th in the 800 meters in 2:38.53.

Matthew Richardson was 32nd in the 400 meters in 1:04.58.

Jaeden Carolina was 34th in the 100-meter dash in 13.67 seconds.

Sean St. Louis was 35th in the 100-meter dash in 13.96 seconds.

In the relays, the 800-meter relay team won in 1:31.91, while the 400-meter team was second in 44.22 seconds. The 3200-meter team was second in 8:37.03 and was third in the 1600 meters in 3:34.27.

In the field events, J.P. Perryman swept the jumps, taking the long jump at 20-9.75 and the triple jump at 43-6.

Fort Campbell swept the top four spots in the pole vault. Seth Puraty was first (7-6), followed by Matthew Richardson (5-6), Xavi Nava (5-6), and Micah Castillo (5-6).

Jaeden Carolina was second in the discus throw at 111-5 and fourth in the shot put at 38-2.

Adam Berry was fifth in the high jump at 5-6 and seventh in the triple jump at 35-3.5

Levi Kruse was fifth in the triple jump at 37-1 and was seventh in the long jump at 17-11.

Antonio Rivera was 14th in the discus throw at 68-2 and 14th in the shot put at 30-6.

Coner O’Neill was 20th in the discus throw at 32-6.

Fort Campbell’s team total of 141 points was 29 more than second-place Rossview.
