Lillianah DeWitt is a region standout in two sports for Fort Campbell High School and will be on the state stage this week as she concludes her wrestling career at the state tournament in Lexington.

Lillianah Dewitt has reached the medal podium at state twice — 7th place in 2023 when the event was sponsored by the state’s coaches and third place last year — the first tourney sanctioned by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association.

After a runner-up finish at the region tourney earlier this month — her second straight second-place medal — she will seek a third state medal on Thursday in Lexington.

But wrestling isn’t the only sport where Lillianah excels at the region and state levels. She is a two-time region champion in the 200 meters and was a member of Fort Campbell’s 400-meter relay team that earned All-State recognition following a fourth-place finish at the Class 1A State Meet.
