
The Trigg County track and field team put forth a ninth-place effort at Saturday’s Coach Johnson Memorial Invitational hosted by Fort Campbell.
Braxton Hargrove was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles in 46.84 seconds.
Brody Renfroe was eighth in the 800 meters in 2:14.67.
Dekon Perry came in ninth place in the 800-meter run in 2:16.19.
Peyton Williams came in ninth place in the 200-meter dash in 23.56 seconds and 16th place in the 100-meter dash in 11.86 seconds.
Carter Shepherd was 11th in the 200-meter dash in 23.81 seconds and 17th in the 100-meter dash in 11.87 seconds.
David Cavanaugh was 11th place in the 400 meters in 54.53 seconds.
Grant Gallogly was 18th in the 1600 meters in 5:55.46.
Travis Cavanaugh was 22nd in the 200 meters in 26.23 seconds and 31st in the 100-meter dash in 12.78 seconds.
Zamonte Cavanaugh was 26th in the 400 meters in 1:01.17.
Max Disney was 29th in the 400 meters in 1:02.74.
In the relays, the 3200-meter team (8:45.32) was fourth; the 800-meter team (1:38.39) was fifth; and the 400-meter team was eighth in 47.31 seconds.
In the field events, Thye White was eighth in the shot put at 33-11.
Malik Dixon was 17th in the long jump at 14-6.25.
Thomas Lingenfelter was 17th in the discus throw at 58-3 feet and 22nd in the shot put at 20-8.
Connor Fitzhugh was 19th in the long jump at 13-6.
As a team, Trigg County scored 16 points to finish 25 points behind eighth-place Paducah Tilghman.
