
Hosts Henderson County rolled to its eight straight victory behind a trio of home runs and a strong performance in the circle by Mackenzie Burczk to knock off Christian County 10-0.
Anna Kemp and Saniya Shields went deep back-to-back to lead off the bottom of the second, and consecutive RBI doubles by Ayden Bennett and Maggie Grogan made it 5-0.
Burczk helped herself with a two-run home run in the fifth, and Azayah Hall finished things off with a single to bring in two and make it 10-0.
Chloe Almy’s single was the lone hit allowed by Burczk to go with four walks and four strikeouts.
Hall was 2/3 with three RBI, Shields had three hits, Bennett had two and drove in two runs, and Grogan and Kemp each finished with two hits and a run driven in.
Henderson improved to 13-1 with Castle, IN set to visit on Tuesday
Christian County slipped to 7-5 ahead of a matchup with Union County in Hopkinsville on Thursday.
