This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of April 7 is University Heights Academy’s Cadence Gibson. Cadence was selected based on his performance in the Blazers’ win over Crittenden County in the 2nd Region All A Classic semifinals.
Cadence had a big game for the Blazers in the win over the Rockets going 2-3 with 3 RBIs and two runs scored. His performance helped UHA to take an 11-1 win and advance on to the All A regional championship game.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Heritage Christian, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
