Big wins for the Henderson County boys and the Hopkins County Central girls as the two schools met in 2nd Region tennis action Monday.
On the boys’ side, Henderson County won every match but one on the way to an 8-1 win over the Storm. Henderson won all six singles matches and then took 2 of the 3 doubles matches.
The win for Hopkins County Central came in the form of a nice doubles win for Cole Hoard and Jagger Byrum as they took down the number one pairing for Henderson County, Carson Weiss and Chaz Audas.
In girls’ play, the Lady Storm had a big afternoon, rolling past the Lady Colonels 8-1. The only loss for Hopkins County Central came in the #1 singles matchup between Elissa Adams and Jaylee Duncan, which Duncan won 8-3.
