Coming off a tough loss to Henderson County earlier in the week, the Christian County Lady Colonels were in need of a rebound win Thursday night as the Union County Bravettes came rolling into town. Led by freshmen Alondra Rodriquez and Alyssa Petterson, the Lady Colonels got just that in the form of a 6-3 win.

Things got off to a bit of a bumpy start for the Lady Colonels as Union County scored twice in the bottom of the first to take the early lead.

The Lady Colonels came back with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Jazzy Tejada grounded out to score Chloe Almy and cut the lead to 2-1. Alyssa Petterson then singled to drive in Alondra Rodriguez and tie the game after one.
