
Shooting in her first state tourney, Eva Freeman shot a 265 to finish in 189th place out of 296 shooters at the Operation UNITE KHSAA State Archery Tournament in Lexington on Thursday.
Freeman was the first Hopkinsville archer to advance to the state tournament since Mary Poe in 2018.
Madison Puckett of Meade County won the tournament with a score of 296, four shots better than second-place Brooke Lucas of Letcher County.
