Tember Oliver pitched a complete game shutout and Kady Fuller accounted for the only run in the game for either team with a fourth inning home run as Trigg County went on the road and knocked off Christian County 1-0 Friday evening.

The win was the sixth straight for Trigg County and the second straight for the Lady Wildcats over the Lady Colonels. The last time the two teams met was in the 2nd Region tournament with the Lady Wildcats taking an 8-4 win in the quarterfinals.

Oliver was almost untouchable for Trigg County. She gave up just four hits in her seven innings in the circle, striking out six and walking one. The most serious trouble she got into was in the bottom of the sixth.

Avery Adcock was hit by a pitch to start the inning. Adcock advanced all the way to third on a sacrifice by Chloe Almy. Alondra Rodriguez came up with one out and Adcock on third base and hit a rocket shot back up the middle. However, Tember Oliver snagged the line drive and doubled off Adcock at third to end the threat.

Christian County got the leadoff runner on base in the bottom of the 7th when Jazzy Tejada singled, but the Lady Colonels could not do anything with the hit as Oliver shut the door to seal the win.

The only run in the game came in the top of the fourth with one out when Kady Fuller got one up in the wind and cleared the leftfield fence to make it 1-0.

Christian County got a solid combined pitching effort from Avery Adcock and Alyssa Petterson. Adcock went four innings, giving up one run on three hits, striking out two and walking one. Petterson came in and went the final three innings, giving up no runs on two hits, striking out none and walking one.
