
Big wins for both the Hopkins County Central Storm and Lady Storm on the tennis courts Thursday afternoon as they hosted the Christian County Colonels and Lady Colonels.
In girls’ play, the Lady Storm won 3 of 4 singles matches and then took both doubles matches that were played to win the team match 5-1.
On the boys’ side, the Storm took a 6-1 team win over the Colonels. Hopkins County Central won all five singles matches, including a big battle between two of the top players in the region, where Hopkins County Central’s #1, Cohl Hoard, upended Christian County’s #1, Cooper Fort.
Fort and his doubles partner Raymond Robinson picked up the only win for Christian County as the two teams split a pair of doubles matches.
