Another big win for the Madisonville-North Hopkins boys tennis team Tuesday. The Maroons traveled to Owensboro and picked up an 8-1 team match win over the Apollo Eagles.
The Maroons won five of the six singles matches. The only one they lost turned out to be the match of the afternoon as Maroon #1 Ethan Larkins and Apollo #1 Jamison Franey were involved in a battle down to the wire. Franey would end up winning 8-8 (10-8).
Madisonville then swept the three doubles matches to take the 8-1 team match for the day.
