
Spring is a tough time for most senior student-athletes, and Avery Adcock is no different. The Christian County softball standout holds down a 4.3 GPA, is ranked at the top of her class, and has signed to continue her softball career at the University of Missouri.
Avery is also winding down her Lady Colonel career, where she doesn’t mind being the self-appointed ‘dugout mom’ of a squad that starts three middle schoolers and three freshmen. Entering Thursday with a .511 batting average and five home runs, Avery took time to discuss her mental approach to the team, the season, and the balancing act it all requires.
