
University Heights Academy’s Tylin George has been named to the Kentucky Junior All Stars that will play against Indiana later this summer.
As a junior, George averaged 31.3 points a game while shooting 45% from the field and 84% from the free throw line. He was also second for UHA in rebounds at 8.1 per contest.
George was held under 20 points just once during the 2024-25 season and topped 30 points in 15 of the 21 games he played. He scored 47 points against Lyon County in the All A Classic Region Tournament and followed that four days later with a career-high 50 points against Hopkins County Central.
Others named to the squad include Newport’s James Turner, Caverna’s Jailyn Craine, Male’s Cole Edelen, Madison Central’s Jake Feldhaus, and Daviess County’s DeAaron Watkins, who played at Madisonville as a freshman.
The Kentucky Juniors will play Indiana on Sunday, June 1 at Charlestown, Indiana High School, which is located across the river and to the northeast of Louisville.
The Juniors will also scrimmage the Kentucky Seniors ahead of their annual home-and-home series with Indiana on June 6-7.
