The grandson of a former Caldwell County football standout has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fresno State wide receiver Mac Dalena signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft.
Dalena is the grandson of the late Norman Carner, a Caldwell County grad and former Tiger player.

Dalena had a productive senior season for the Fresno State Bulldogs in 2024, recording 64 catches for 1,065 yards and eight touchdowns.
The 5-11, 180-pound receiver will battle for a roster spot with the Chiefs in offseason camp.
Carner was a member of the Tiger football team from 1959-62 and played on some strong Caldwell football squads during that time.
Carner was inducted into the Caldwell County Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
