One of the top defenders for the Hopkins County Central football team is getting the chance to continue his athletic and educational career on the collegiate level. Storm senior Carlos Mason is headed off to Georgetown College.
During the 2024 football season, Mason was second on the Hopkins County Central football team in total tackles with 62. He had 23 solo and 39 assisted. He played in ten of the Storm’s 11 games for the season.
He had six tackles for loss and led the Storm with three sacks.
Mason finished the year with one fumble recovery.
