For the second time in less than two weeks, the Christian County Lady Colonels and the Lyon County Lady Lyons played into extra innings. And for the second time in row, it was the home team walking it off in the bottom of the eighth.

Chloe Almy scored on a sac fly with no outs in the bottom of the 8th inning to give Christian County the 6-5 win over the Lady Lyons. The win came after the Lady Colonels saw a 4-0 lead evaporate and then had to score a run in the bottom of the 7th just to keep the game going.

Christian County had taken a 4-0 lead after scoring a run in the second, a run in the third, and two runs in the fourth. Lady Lyon pitching struggles set the Lady Colonels up in the second and third innings. Jayda Turner connected for a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth.

Lyon County got an RBI single from Ava Prow to trim the lead to 4-1 in the top of the sixth. The Lady Lyons pulled even on a wild pitch and then an RBI double from Jenna Coursey. A Christian County error put Lyon County up 5-4 going into the bottom of the 7th.
