The first time that the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons and the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm met on the tennis courts this season, it was a battle that came down to the final match before the team win for the Lady Maroons was decided.
Thursday afternoon, the Lady Maroons picked up a statement win by rolling past the Lady Storm 8-1 on the courts at Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Madisonville won all six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches that counted towards the team scoring total.
