Madisonville North-Hopkins’ Trashaun Smith continues to show that he is among the best jumpers in the state during the 2025 high school track season. Smith had another big weekend as he swept the jumping events at the Apollo Invitational.

Smith won the high jump with a 6-4 effort. That jump was 2-inches better than second place finishers Noah O’Nan, of Owensboro Catholic, and Koleby Schroeder, of Union County.

Smith won the long jump with a leap of 22-1. That jump was 5 ½ inches better than second place finisher Paxton Dewitt, of Breckinridge County.

Smith completed the trifecta with a jump of 44-0.5 in the triple jump. That effort just surpassed 2nd place finisher Brayden Wilson, whose best jump came in at 43-10.25.
