A pair of 1st place finishes and a trio of new school records were the highlights of the day Saturday for the track and field teams at Dawson Springs High School. The Panthers and Lady Panthers were in Owensboro competing at the Apollo Invitational.
Easton Bourland won the Boys 800 Meter Run with a new school record time of 1:58.46.
The Boys 4×800 relay team also won their event and set a new school record with a time of 8:19.03.
Montgomery Johnston took 3rd place in Boys 400 Meter Dash and in doing so set a new school record of 52.44.
