
On the night they honored their three seniors, the Christian County Lady Colonels celebrated with a big win over the Murray Lady Tigers. Christian County took advantage of six Murray errors and 8 walks and cruised to an 11-0 five-inning win on their home field.
The night featured a rare occurrence with senior Avery Adcock playing all nine positions on the field. She had played seven of the nine spots by the end of the second inning.

Christian County scored five runs in the first, one in the second, three in the third, and two in the bottom of the fourth, all on just five hits for the game.
Chloe Almy led the Lady Colonels, going 2-4 with a double two RBIs, and three runs scored. Avery Adcock was 1-3 with a home run in the third, two RBIs, and three runs scored. Jazzy Tejada ended up 1-3 with a home run in the second, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Jayda Turner was 1-2 with an RBI and a run scored.
Alyssa Petterson got the start in the circle for the Lady Colonels and went three innings, giving up just one hit, striking out two, and walking none.
Christian County is set to go on the road Thursday to take on Caldwell County.
