The search is again underway for a new head boys’ basketball coach at Hopkins County Central High School. School officials confirmed to YourSportsEdge.Com that Mason Burgett had stepped down from the position after one year at the school.
Burgett’s 2024-2025 team went 10-16, losing to Madisonville-North Hopkins in the 7th District semifinals.
Prior to his stop at Hopkins County Central, Burgett spent two years as the head boys’ coach at Trigg County.
