The only thing preventing the Christian County Lady Colonels from having won the 8th District softball championship for two decades straight is that thing we would all like to forget called the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lady Colonels will be looking for the 20th straight championship when action gets underway, Monday, May 19.
The opening game that Monday night at 5:30 will find University Heights Academy taking on Fort Campbell in the battle of #2 seed vs #3 seed. At 7pm, top-seeded Christian County will take on #4 seed Heritage Christian.
The 8th District championship game is then set for Tuesday, May 20, at 7:30.
The tournament is being played at University Heights Academy.
Tickets for the tourney are $8 each.
