Rebels Survive Miscues to Get Past Hopkins County Central

Both the Todd County Central Rebels and the Hopkins County Central Storm had their struggles in the field Thursday night. The Rebels just had a few less.

Todd County Central took advantage of seven errors by the Storm as the Rebels took an 11-7 win in Elkton. The two teams combined for 8 hits and they combined for 12 errors in the game.

Of the 18 total runs in the game, nine of them were unearned.

The Rebels put at least two runs on the board in every inning but the bottom of the fifth. Hopkins Central scored four in the first, two in the third, and one more in the top of the fifth.

Devin Schutt, Conner Wheeler, Hunter Johnson, and Aidan Bobbett had one hit each for the Rebels. Wheeler drove in two runs.

Neilan Bruce, Sawyer Allen, Daniel Brady, and Jak Mitchell had one hit apiece for Hopkins County Central.

Conner Wheeler picked up the win for Todd County Central, going 4 ⅔ innings and giving up seven runs, just four of them earned, on three hits.
