
The Russellville Panthers used a 7-run third inning to blow open a close game and then roll on to a 13-3 6-inning win over the Fort Campbell Falcons Tuesday evening. The win ended an 11-game losing streak for the Panthers, which included forfeiting all six of the regular season district games.
The Falcons had their issues in the field, committing four errors, which allowed Russellville to score five unearned runs.
The Panthers scored in every inning except the bottom of the fifth. Russellville had two runs in the first, one in the second, seven in the third, one in the fourth, and then closed out the game with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Trailing 10-0, the Falcons got on the board in the top of the fourth on back-to-back RBI singles from Michael Anderson and Gavin Haler to trim the lead to 10-2.
The Falcons added another run in the top of the fifth on an RBI single from John Arnold.
Arnold led the Falcons, going 2-3 with a run scored. Tanner Starnater ended up 2-2.
Fort Campbell is back in action Wednesday evening, finishing the game against University Heights that was suspended Monday evening due to rainy weather.
