In the relays, the 400-meter team was fifth in 53.55 seconds, which was a season best.

As a team, Madisonville came in seventh place with 17 points.

The start of the meet was delayed 45 minutes due to lightning that accompanied a storm that moved through the area. Midway through the third event, there was another hour-long delay due to 30 to 40 mph wind gusts that rolled through the area.

The top two finishers in each event automatically qualify for the state meet on May 31 at the University of Kentucky. The next 10 times/distances/heights from across the state at the region will also advance. Those will be known by the end of the week.
