After losing her sophomore season in 2022-2023 to a knee injury, Monday was an especially big day for Hopkinsville High School senior Lashanti Wilson.
During ceremonies Monday afternoon, Wilson officially signed to continue her athletic and educational career at Volunteer State Community College, in Gallatin, Tennessee.
As a senior this past season, Wilson averaged 12.7 points per game, second on the team, and helped to lead the Lady Tigers to the 2nd Region tournament.
She led the team in made 3-pointers with 35 and pulled down 3.7 rebounds per contest.
Volunteer State is a member of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association.
